Hospitality and Outdoor – Urgent Vacancy-F&B Manager Boutique Hotel- Karoo (Touws Rivier) A truly special destination in the Karoo is looking for a strong F&B Candidate. Located just two hours from Cape Town along the N1, the property offers an authentic escape with 26 hotel rooms, 13 Africamps glamping tents, two restaurants and a wide range of outdoor activities. The destination is undergoing exciting facility upgrades and introducing new guest experiences. We are looking for a hands-on and service-driven Junior Food and Beverage Manager with hospitality experience to support the daily operations of the food and beverage department. This position is based on-site at the property and includes accommodation. Requirements · Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or similar leadership role experience in a 4/5 star hotel/Resort/Lodge- Essential · Diploma or similar in Food Service Management or related field- Beneficial · A strong understanding of food and beverage trends, particularly in a boutique and luxury setting. Solid understanding of restaurant and bar service standards Exposure to stock control and basic costing processes · Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. · Good computer skills (MS Office, Micros) · Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. · Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Key Responsibilities Support the day-to-day management of all food and beverage operations Oversee front of house service to ensure exceptional guest experiences Supervise and guide food and beverage team members on shift Maintain high service standards and ensure consistency across outlets Assist with staff scheduling, training and performance management Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve any service-related concerns promptly Assist with stock control, stock takes and ordering processes Support kitchen with basic costing and cost control measures Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards Work closely with senior management to improve operational efficiency The exciting new projects are: Grow existing farm store Manage coffee bar & introduce new coffee drinks New bar snacks menu Upgraded wine list Updated bar menu Refresh all restaurant menu items Refresh existing baskets and introduce new picnic baskets Introduce room service Building braai area so hotel guests can braai themselves – we supply meat and salads Bring wedding and conference catering in house Package on offer • R 30-35 000 pm, depending on Experience • Accommodation provided Starting Date: June/July 2026
