About the Role

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an accomplished Group General Manager for a well-established luxury hotel group in Kenya. This senior leadership role requires a highly strategic hospitality professional with extensive operational expertise, strong financial acumen and the ability to lead multiple properties to consistently deliver world-class guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight across all properties within the group
  • Drive operational excellence, ensuring standards are met and exceeded across departments
  • Lead, mentor and motivate senior management teams to achieve business objectives
  • Oversee financial performance, budgeting, forecasting and cost control measures
  • Implement and monitor service standards to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction
  • Develop and execute long-term growth strategies for the group
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or Group General Manager within a luxury hotel environment
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities
  • Excellent financial management and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational performance and guest satisfaction
  • Ability to lead diverse teams across multiple properties
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or Group General Manager within a luxury hotel environment

Salary & Benefits

Salary: USD 5,000 – USD 6,000 (negotiable), depending on the DOE.
