About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced couple to join our team as Head Field Guide/Assistant Lodge & Reserve Management Couple at Jembisa Lodge cc in Waterberg, Limpopo. As an integral part of our intimate boutique safari lodge, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guiding experiences, managing reserve operations, and ensuring the overall well-being of our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Host guests, conduct guided game drives and bush walks, and ensure guest safety.
- Assist with reserve management, including habitat monitoring and conservation tasks.
- Manage game vehicle and equipment maintenance.
- Supervise staff and contractors when required.
- Assist with infrastructure upkeep (roads, fencing, water systems).
- Manage lodge operations, including housekeeping, kitchen, and front-of-house duties.
Requirements
- HIM: FGASA Nature Site Guide – NQF4 (minimum), higher levels advantageous. Exceptional Birding Knowledge. Valid PDP. Minimum 3–5 years’ guiding experience. Mechanical and maintenance experience.
- HER: Marketing experience highly advantageous. Minimum 3-5 years’ lodge or hospitality experience. Strong organisational and multitasking ability.

- HIM: FGASA Nature Site Guide – NQF4 (minimum), higher levels advantageous.

Salary & Benefits
- ±R36,000 per couple (negotiable based on experience)
- Accommodation (Couple occupancy only)
