About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in a 4-star lodge environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing maintenance, implementing preventive measures, and taking full responsibility for their department.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of all maintenance on the property
- Implement and manage a preventive maintenance system
- Handle electrical, plumbing, and general lodge maintenance
- Manage technical systems (including air conditioning and basic smart systems if possible)
- Ensure all issues are resolved proactively, not reactively
Requirements
- Previous experience in a 4-star lodge is essential
- Solution-driven approach with ability to take full responsibility in their department
- Proven track record of reliability and proactive problem-solving
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
Salary & Benefits
- Accommodation: shared double room with shared bathroom
- Leave cycle: 21 days on / 7 days off
- Food allowance: 500 ZAR per month
