Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Medical Service Technician. As a key member of our equipment service and maintenance team, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and upkeeping medical equipment across the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) region.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing and maintenance of medical equipment
- Repair and assessment of equipment across the KZN region
- Liaising with hospital staff and engineering departments
- Ensuring equipment is maintained to required standards
Requirements
- Well-groomed and professional
- Ability to work independently
- Valid drivers license is a must
- Good communication skills
- Advantageous experience:
- Knowledge of the hospital industry (private and government sector)
- Experience working with SCM or hospital engineering staff
- Experience repairing electrical hospital beds
