About the Role

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Resort Manager for a luxury private island property in the Seychelles. This unique opportunity allows a well-rounded hospitality professional to take on a leadership role in a remote, high-end environment, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the resort, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction
  • Lead, manage, and inspire a diverse team across all departments
  • Ensure operational efficiency across departments including front of house, housekeeping, and guest services
  • Maintain and uphold luxury service standards and brand values
  • Drive team performance through training, mentoring, and development initiatives
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns in a professional and proactive manner
  • Work closely with department heads to ensure smooth coordination and communication
  • Monitor budgets, costs, and overall financial performance in collaboration with the finance team
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar senior hospitality management role within an ultra-luxury property. Proven remote island or hardship location experience is essential. Pre-opening experience is a must.

Salary & Benefits

Negotiable DOE (Live-in)

  • Single status only
  • Must have excellent grooming and presentation standards
  • Must be able to provide three written and contactable references
  • Must be comfortable living and working in a remote island environment
  • Must be easily accessible for travel, preferably with direct flight access to the Seychelles
