Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Relevant Sales, Marketing, or Business Management qualification will be advantageous.
  • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in a sales supervisor role.
  • Proven experience within a Wholesale and/or Manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, customer relationship management, and business development.
  • Experience supervising and motivating a sales team.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support the sales team to achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the wholesale and manufacturing sectors.
  • Conduct customer visits and follow up on quotations and orders.
  • Assist in preparing sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and prompt resolution of customer queries.
  • Coordinate with production, warehouse, and logistics departments to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new sales representatives
