About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Breakfast Head Chef to join our award-winning 5* boutique hotel in Franschhoek. As part of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional a la carte breakfast experiences with innovative menu planning, advanced food preparation techniques, and attentive service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily breakfast service with attention to detail and high standards
  • Develop and implement menu concepts that showcase your culinary expertise
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Manage inventory, food costing, and waste management to optimize profitability
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen and dining areas
  • Collaborate with the restaurant team to deliver exceptional customer experiences

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, management & staff development skills
  • Excellent a la carte & fine dining skills
  • Innovative; creative & trend-setting menu planning
  • Hands-on operator who leads by example
  • Excellent administration, systems & communication skills

Qualifications
