About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated SAS Viya Engineer to join our growing data and analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing the SAS Viya platform in a cloud-native environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain SAS Viya on cloud platforms (AWS/ Azure) or on-prem Kubernetes environments
- Manage users, roles, and permissions to ensure secure access
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot platform issues
- Integrate SAS Viya with databases, APIs, and data lakes
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines
- Clean, transform, and prepare data for analytics and modeling
- Support data scientists using SAS Visual Analytics and SAS Model Studio
- Deploy and manage machine learning models within SAS Viya
- Automate model scoring and retraining processes
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- Work with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Ensure system scalability, reliability, and high availability
Requirements
- Strong experience with SAS Viya administration and deployment
- Solid knowledge of SQL and data integration
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Python and/or R
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
