About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Short Sale Processor to join our team on a part-time basis (20 hours/week). As a remote role, you will work US Business Hours (EST) with flexibility to ensure seamless communication with stakeholders. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and possess excellent negotiation skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lender Liaison: Communicate and follow up aggressively with banks, realtors, sellers, and title companies to move files toward closing.
  • Document Management: Collect, review, and organize complex “hardship packages” (financials, tax returns, bank statements, etc.) to ensure they are audit-ready.
  • Package Submission: Prepare and submit complete short sale packages via lender portals and respond immediately to any “missing doc” requests.
  • Foreclosure Tracking: Monitor foreclosure timelines and coordinate critical steps like BPOs/appraisals, payoff statements, and postponement requests.
  • Case Logging: Maintain meticulous digital notes and follow-up history for every file.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in short sale processing with a track record of successfully obtaining short sale approvals.
  • Fluent and excellent verbal and written English skills (you will be negotiating on the phone daily).
  • A “hustler” personality – you are persistent, a self-starter, and don’t take “no” for an answer from bank representatives.
