Location: Sinoville, Pretoria North, Gauteng

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Basic Salary: R30,000 R35,000 per month (Depending on experience) + Lucrative Commission Structure

About the Role

We are looking for a high-performing, energetic, and strategic Light New Vehicle Sales Manager to lead a dynamic dealership sales team in Sinoville, Pretoria North. In this role, you will drive unit sales, maximize profitability, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership: Motivate, mentor, and manage the new vehicle sales team to consistently meet and exceed monthly volume and gross profit targets.

  • Stock & Inventory Management: Oversee new vehicle stock levels, aging inventory, model mix, and showroom floor displays.

  • Deal Structuring & Finance: Assist sales executives in structuring deals, working closely with the F&I (Finance & Insurance) manager to optimize conversion rates.

  • Marketing & Customer Retention: Develop and implement local marketing strategies, promotions, and customer retention initiatives specific to the Tzaneen market.

  • CSI Excellence: Maintain and improve the dealership’s Customer Service Index (CSI) scores by ensuring top-tier service delivery.

  • Reporting: Compile and present detailed weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to executive management.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 35 years of stable experience as a New Vehicle Sales Manager or Senior Sales Executive/Team Lead within a franchise dealership environment.

  • Track Record: Proven, verifiable track record of meeting unit volume and profit targets.

  • Systems Knowledge: Strong proficiency in dealership management systems (e.g., Automate, Pinnacle, Seriti, or similar).

  • Driver’s License: Valid, unendorsed South African drivers license is non-negotiable.

  • Skills: Exceptional negotiation, leadership, and closing skills. Excellent bilingual communication skills are highly beneficial for the local market.
