About the Role
Our Client is seeking to employ a Digital Marketing and Social Media Consultant to their team at their head office based in Greenbushes, Port Elizabeth. Lead and grow the digital presence across South Africa and the United Kingdom, with a strong social media-first focus. This role blends content creation, community management, influencer partnerships, paid social advertising (Meta), brand protection, and performance reporting to strengthen brand awareness, increase engagement, and support sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube (and emerging platforms).
- Plan, schedule, publish, and manage content calendars with consistent brand voice and visuals.
- Stay on top of platform updates, competitor activity, and social trends.
- Identify opportunities for seasonal campaigns and international awareness days.
- Grow communities through organic posting and active audience engagement.
- Manage customer interactions professionally (comments, DMs, queries).
- Track and improve KPIs: reach, engagement, follower growth, CTR, conversions.
- Produce regular reporting with insights and recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing social media for a brand/business.
- Strong content creation and copywriting skills.
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle.
- Advanced working knowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva / Adobe).
- Video filming and editing experience.
- Understanding of Meta advertising platforms.
- Excellent communication, organization, and independent working capability.
- Influencer marketing experience.
- E-commerce/marketplace exposure.
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
- Experience supporting international markets.
- Photography and videography capability.
