About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and guest-focused Spa Therapist to join our prestigious Luxury Game Reserve in the Kalahari. As part of one of South Africa’s most respected conservation brands, you will have the opportunity to deliver world-class wellness treatments in a tranquil bush setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a range of treatments including massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, and body therapies
- Conduct guest consultations to determine treatment needs and preferences
- Ensure treatment rooms and spa areas are clean, hygienic, and well-prepared
- Maintain high standards of guest service and confidentiality
- Promote and upsell spa treatments, retail products, and wellness packages
- Manage bookings and treatment schedules in coordination with reception
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering spa products and supplies
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Collaborate with camp operations and front-of-house teams to enhance guest experience
Requirements
- Relevant spa or beauty therapy qualification (CIDESCO, ITEC, or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a lodge, hotel, or resort spa environment preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and guest-service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
- Knowledge of spa products and treatments
