About the Role

We are seeking a polished and people-loving Spa Reservationist / Back Up Therapist to join our luxury hotel’s dynamic wellness team in Tokai, Western Cape. As the warm and welcoming voice behind every booking, you will ensure guests feel relaxed before they’ve even arrived. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a luxury hospitality environment, loves creating unforgettable guest experiences, and enjoys balancing administration, reservations, reception support, and hands-on therapy when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing spa bookings via phone, email, WhatsApp, and in person
  • Upselling treatments, packages, and retail products
  • Assisting with front desk operations and guest check-ins/check-outs
  • Supporting spa administration and reporting
  • Providing treatments during peak periods or therapist shortages
  • Delivering exceptional guest experiences aligned with luxury hospitality standards

Requirements

  • 2–3 years’ experience within a luxury spa or 5-star hospitality environment
  • Previous reservations or reception experience is essential
  • Somatology qualification (ITEC / CIDESCO / SAAHSP advantageous)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A professional, well-groomed, and guest-focused individual
  • Someone calm under pressure with excellent attention to detail
  • A natural team player
