About the Role

The Internal Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily administration and coordination of the sales office, ensuring smooth operational flow and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the sales office.
  • Answer incoming sales calls and respond to customer enquiries professionally.
  • Assist walk-in customers with product information and sales support.
  • Prepare and issue customer quotations.
  • Capture sales orders accurately on the system.
  • Process customer invoicing.
  • Process RFCs and credit notes for customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation.
  • Liaise with the production team regarding customer orders and stock requirements.
  • Assist with production planning and scheduling.
  • Monitor order progress to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate logistics and dispatch processes.
  • Arrange delivery bookings and schedules for nationwide customer deliveries.
  • Ensure delivery notes are signed by transporters and customers for filing purposes.
  • Follow up on outstanding or missing delivery documentation.
  • Conduct after-sales follow-ups with customers.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Resolve customer queries efficiently and professionally.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in a sales administration or internal sales environment.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Computer literate.
