Job Description
In this role, you’ll take full ownership of the enterprise risk framework, ensuring it remains a practical, embedded part of daily operations, not just a document that gathers dust. From operational risk to IT risk and emerging threats, you’ll be responsible for turning uncertainty into structured, actionable control.
This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your voice will carry weight. Your ability to challenge thinking, anticipate issues, and reinforce the importance of forward planning will directly contribute to the organisation’s resilience and long-term success.
If you enjoy working across both strategic and operational levels, thrive in evolving environments, and believe that risk management should actively shape business decisions, not just audit outcomes, this opportunity offers real impact and growth.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Owning and continuously enhancing the enterprise risk management framework
- Identifying, analysing, and reporting on key risks to leadership and at a Board level
- Implementing mitigation strategies that are practical, effective, and embedded in operations
- Overseeing operational and IT risk, including cybersecurity exposure
- Driving process improvements and supporting technology enablement
- Managing IT risk strategy and coordinating with outsourced providers
- Supporting business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives
- Conducting due diligence across service providers and operational processes
- Embedding a proactive, accountable risk culture across the business
What You’ll Need To Bring:
- A relevant qualification in Finance, Risk, Engineering, or a related field
- 5–10 years’ experience in enterprise risk management, with a strong operational focus
- CISA (advantageous)
- Solid exposure to IT risk and cybersecurity
- A background within Financial Services & Asset Management
- A deep understanding of risk frameworks, governance, and controls
- The ability to translate complex risks into clear, actionable business decisions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confidence to engage and influence at an executive level
What Will Set You Apart:
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
- A critical, forward-thinking mindset
- The ability to influence and drive meaningful change
- A results-driven approach
- Curiosity and commitment to continuous improvement
- High attention to detail
- A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
