You will take ownership of the enterprise risk management framework, ensuring risks are not only identified but actually managed. From operational to IT risk, you’ll be the go-to person for turning “this could be an issue” into structured, measurable, and controlled outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the enterprise risk management framework
- Identify, assess, monitor, and report key risks to management and board level
- Design and implement risk mitigation strategies that actually get used
- Oversee operational and IT risk management, including cyber risk considerations
- Drive business process improvements and support adoption of new technologies
- Manage IT risk strategy and liaise with outsourced service providers
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning
- Conduct due diligence on service providers and operational processes
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to embed a strong risk culture
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Relevant qualification in Finance, Risk, Engineering, or a related field
- 5–10 years’ experience in enterprise risk management (operational risk focus)
- CISA preferred
- Strong exposure to IT risk and cyber security
- Experience within financial services
- Strong understanding of risk frameworks, controls, and governance
- Ability to translate complex risks into practical business solutions
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at executive level
