About the Role
Hire Resolve, a leading organisation in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team permanently. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have completed their SAICA articles and want to apply their technical skills in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Conduct monthly and annual financial close activities and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and compliant financial records aligned with IFRS and internal standards.
- Review supplier reconciliations and oversee payment releases.
- Process forex payments and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare and submit statutory returns (e.g., VAT201, EMP201).
- Assist with internal and external audits and financial assessments.
- Support cash flow management and financial forecasting.
- Develop and maintain financial tracking spreadsheets and databases.
- Ensure adherence to all reporting and submission deadlines.
Requirements
- Currently Living In Cape Town (NB)
- Completed SAICA articles (essential)
- CA(SA) qualification preferred, though Professional Accountant AGA(SA) will also be considered
- Candidates who have just completed their articles are encouraged to apply
- 3+ years experience in an accounting role (post-articles experience advantageous)

- R780 000 – R800 000 per annum (Negotiable, including 7.5% company provident fund contribution)
