About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Guide and Duty Manager Couple to join our client’s Luxury Safari River Lodge in Zululand, KZN. As a couple, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients while working together as part of a small team. Your friendly demeanour and attitude will be essential in creating a positive experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guided tours and activities to our clients
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the lodge, including handling in-camp issues and using initiative
- Work independently and under pressure, while maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Collaborate with staff members to ensure seamless service delivery
- Perform maintenance tasks as part of the team
Requirements
- Guide:
- Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid first aid Level 1 certification
- DEAT registered (Driver and Traffic Education Authority)
- FGASA level 1 minimum
- Minimum 2 years working experience in a similar role
- Duty Manager:
- Valid Driver’s license
- Valid first aid Level 1 certification (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year previous working experience in a similar role

- Formal education/certifications not specified
Salary & Benefits
- R9500 per month for the Guide (negotiable depending on experience)
- R9000 per month for the Duty Manager (negotiable depending on experience)
- Meals while on duty and a variety of groceries for while off duty as part of the package
- Live-in position included
- Compulsory provident fund provided
