About the Role

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Guide and Duty Manager Couple to join our client’s Luxury Safari River Lodge in Zululand, KZN. As a couple, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients while working together as part of a small team. Your friendly demeanour and attitude will be essential in creating a positive experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guided tours and activities to our clients
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the lodge, including handling in-camp issues and using initiative
  • Work independently and under pressure, while maintaining a high level of professionalism
  • Collaborate with staff members to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Perform maintenance tasks as part of the team

Requirements

  • Guide:
  • Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid first aid Level 1 certification
  • DEAT registered (Driver and Traffic Education Authority)
  • FGASA level 1 minimum
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in a similar role
  • Duty Manager:
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Valid first aid Level 1 certification (preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year previous working experience in a similar role

  • Formal education/certifications not specified

Salary & Benefits

  • R9500 per month for the Guide (negotiable depending on experience)
  • R9000 per month for the Duty Manager (negotiable depending on experience)
  • Meals while on duty and a variety of groceries for while off duty as part of the package
  • Live-in position included
  • Compulsory provident fund provided
