Education and Experience:

• BCom Accounting

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our construction firm in Centurion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full financial function, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry-specific accounting standards. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full financial function (FFF) using BuildSmart software.
• Oversee General Ledger (GL) entries and execute monthly reconciliations (bank, balance sheet).
• Prepare and analyse the trial balance (TB).
• Assist in the preparation of full financial statements (FS).
• Track project-specific costs and manage job costing within the construction environment.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, retentions, and progress billing.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education: BCom Degree in Accounting or a related field (essential).

Technical Knowledge: Extensive exposure to the full financial function (GL, Reconciliations, TB, up to FS preparation).
