Job Description

An industry-leading company situated in Gauteng is currently seeking the expertise of an experienced Mechanical Draughtsman to join their team in Pretoria.

Responsibilities:

Review plans and specifications according to the plan.
Prepare plans, details, specifications and cost estimates of plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and general piping system.
Provide technical advice to the staff designer, supervisor, inspector, and contracting service provider regarding the installation and maintenance of the MEP System.
Analyze Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions.
Identify problems in the design, planning, management and delivering multiple projects.
Plan, organize the review and evaluate the work of consultants, contractors, and others. MEP Engineer knows MS Office, AutoCAD, and Construction Project management software.
MEP Engineer has to prepare and deliver effective oral presentations whenever required

Requirements:

2 + Years experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman working with Building services projects
2 + Years experience in the Design and Draughting of Building services
Produce concept, tender and technical mechanical engineering drawing for commercial buildings, hospitals, data centers etc.
Revit MEP 2018 or higher compulsory, minimum 2-year experience.
Minimum 2 years experience in building service (HVAC)
Strong Co-ordination skills
Draughting diploma will be an advantage.
