About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to lead our agricultural sales team in Durban, KZN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural sales and a deep understanding of crops grown in the Gauteng region.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with producers and agents
- Drive sales growth and achieve targets within the allocated region
- Support agents with technical advice and account management
- Identify new business opportunities and grow market share
- Provide technical product advice to growers and agents
- Implement and monitor field trials and demonstrations
- Train and support agents and farmers on product use and performance
- Collect and report producer, crop and market information
- Maintain budgets, visit reports and sales plans
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in agricultural sales
- Agricultural qualification advantageous
- Strong knowledge of crops grown in the Gauteng region
- Familiarity with local producers and farming areas advantageous
- Valid drivers licence and own reliable transport
