About the Role

The Ntice Sourcing Solutions team is excited to present an opportunity for a motivated individual to join Wilmar SA as a Millwright Apprentice through their 4-year training programme. This apprenticeship is designed to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a qualified Millwright.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in on-the-job training and classroom instruction
  • Develop technical skills in millwrighting, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
  • Collaborate with experienced tradespeople to complete tasks and projects
  • Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to health and safety protocols

Requirements

  • South African citizen from previously disadvantaged groups
  • Senior Certificate / Matric with English passed with a minimum of 50%, and Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy) passed with a minimum of 40%
  • National N3 Certificate (Engineering Studies) with Engineering Science, Mathematics, trade theory subjects such as Electro Techniques/Mechano Techniques/Electrical Technology and an additional trade related technical subject such as Technical Drawings/Industrial Electronics, all passed with a minimum of 50%

Salary & Benefits

  • Monthly stipend: R4 434,00
  • 3 competency-based stipend adjustments thereafter
  • Payment for Institutional Training Toolkit
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Meal while on training or at work
