About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our team at Hospitality and Outdoor Ltd, based in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth and occupancy rates for our hotel through effective sales strategies and strong relationships with corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy rates for the hotel.
  • Proactively source and secure conference, meetings, and corporate event business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, PCOs, and travel agents.
  • Leverage an existing database and network to generate consistent leads and business opportunities.
  • Conduct site inspections, presentations, and client proposals to showcase hotel facilities.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage the full sales process from enquiry to closing.
  • Collaborate with operations and events teams to ensure seamless execution of booked conferences.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records using CRM systems and provide regular sales reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ sales experience within the hospitality or conferencing industry.
  • Strong, established corporate client base and database in Gauteng is essential.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Strong understanding of conference and events operations.
