Uitenhage: Factory Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Factory Accountant to join our team in Uitenhage. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial support to our manufacturing operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and contributing to the overall success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare import costing files and financial reports
  • Assist with stock counts, stock variance investigations, and reporting
  • Compile production scrap reports and monthly balancing reports
  • Support material master maintenance and SAP transaction accuracy
  • Monitor scanning and factory system processes
  • Assist with budgeting and cost control initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company controls, policies, and procedures
  • Support month-end reporting and management accounting functions

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Management Accounting, or related qualification (NQF 6)
  • CIMA qualification or studies towards CIMA advantageous
  • Up to 5 years experience in cost accounting, reporting, or similar role
  • Manufacturing industry experience advantageous
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • SAP FI & MM knowledge advantageous
