About the Role

The Human Capital Business Partner role is a critical component of our organization’s success, providing strategic guidance and support to drive business outcomes through people strategies and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide client-centric and service-oriented human capital advisory services to support the implementation of people strategies and initiatives.
  • Support operationalizing and executing people strategies, ensuring effective risk analysis, mitigation, and management of people practices and processes.
  • Serve as a trusted and credible people coach and advisor to line managers and employees, providing expert advice and coaching on high-performance culture implementation, performance management, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Ensure the effective execution of change plans, including organizational effectiveness interventions, and support the achievement of the Employee Value Proposition to create a ‘Great Place to Work’ environment.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify service requirements and deliver on these, maintaining regular communication and engagement.
  • Facilitate post-appointments, stay and exit interviews, and drive implementation of people-related outcomes from these interviews.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in Human Resources or related (postgraduate degree advantageous).
  • Registration with relevant regulatory bodies (e.g., HPCSA).

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-8 years of progressive, practical exposure to human resource management processes.
  • Generalist background and exposure to recruitment, selection, training, talent management, organisational development, change, recognition and reward, employee relations, relevant legislation, and employment laws within a complex environment.

Functional Operations Management HC Execution

  • Partner with the Senior HCBP to drive the implementation of strategies that engage people in delivering the organization’s vision.
  • Partner with COE to ensure execution of relevant HC projects as per business needs.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Prepare analytics and organizational health measures, such as disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, employee wellness matters, absenteeism, and other organizational measures across the business unit.
  • Review, consolidate, and identify trends around people scorecards to inform unit engagement.
