About the Role

We are building a Talent Pipeline of Fraud Consultants to support fraud detection and risk mitigation initiatives within the banking and financial services environment. This role is ideal for graduates or early-career professionals seeking exposure to fraud investigation, transactional monitoring, and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze customer transactions to identify suspicious or potentially fraudulent activity
  • Investigate irregularities and escalating fraud indicators in accordance with internal procedures
  • Identify emerging fraud trends and risks and flag concerns to relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct preliminary investigations and compile clear, accurate, and detailed case reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Risk, Compliance, Operations) to prevent and mitigate fraudulent activity
  • Ensure adherence to internal fraud policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
  • Support the continuous improvement of fraud detection and prevention processes

Requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Good written and verbal communication skills, including report writing

Clear criminal record and clear credit record

A Degree qualification in Forensic Science, Criminology, or a related field OR 1–3 years’ experience in a fraud detection or fraud risk role within the banking or financial services sector
