About the Role

The Office Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative functions within our steel manufacturing business. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and assist in payroll and financial reconciliation duties efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering of switchboard and screening of management calls.
  • Be presentable and professional at all time as you will be the first contact to all clients.
  • Keep reception area neat and tidy at all times.
  • Offer refreshments to clients.
  • Manage boardroom facility.
  • Manage all company e-mails and distribution of the e-mails to relevant responsible persons.
  • Liaise with Social media company when required.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and assist in payroll and financial reconciliation duties efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • First Aid qualification (advantage).

Qualifications

  • Grade 12.
  • Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting (advantage).
  • Proven experience in office administration, payroll processing, and financial reconciliation.

Job Description

About the Role

The Office Administrator will provide administrative support to key account managers and directors, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, as well as assisting with trade-related activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting: Assist Key Account Managers (KAMs) and DBAs with monthly client presentations (PPTs) and Perigee report processing
  • Administrative Support: Capture collected aged stock feedback into Kwelanga system, distribute split store lists to regional representatives, track Perigee tasks, and maintain accurate records
  • Trade Assistance: Take minutes during operations manager meetings, assist with Clippa sales returns on a weekly basis, update formal trade sales and gap reports weekly
  • Teamwork & Self-Management: Manage own priorities to consistently achieve deliverables, collaborate with team members to achieve common goals

Requirements

  • South African unemployed youth aged between the ages of 18 and 34
  • Must not have participated in the YES Programme previously
  • Strong reporting and data management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
