About the Role

The successful candidate will be an all-rounder accountant with a strong background in bank capturing and sales coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop their skills in various areas of accounting, including daily bank payments, sales and transport coordination, and stock management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bank capturing
  • Daily bank payments
  • Sales & Transport coordination
  • Receives PO from Digistics
  • Product, Quantities, Delivery Date, Time Slot
  • Stock verification with 3rd party warehousing
  • Schedule booking and request
  • Goods Issued
  • Note Confirm driver and truck details for collection
  • Delivery time slot confirmation
  • Identification of relevant batch selection
  • Prepare sales order
  • Confirm GI-Note agrees with original batch selection
  • Prepare Chep Pallets
  • Transfer Out
  • Invoicing
  • Raise invoice on Pastel and share with Digistics in advance confirming delivery
  • Invoice Digistics PO GI Note Chep Transfer -OUT note
  • Concession letters if required
  • Invoice discounting
  • Request proof of delivery with signed and stamped documents from Driver
  • Complete Nedbanks Schedule of Debt form and submit via email
  • Stock Manufacturing on Pastel
  • Checking of BOM
  • Manufacturing Capture of over/under and waste quantities
  • Monthly creditors reconciliations
  • Month end TB recons
  • Month end stock-take verification and investigations
  • Management reports / Expense Tool
  • VAT Submission and Payment
  • Salary Inputs, Salary verification, Salary Payment Batch, Salary Journal Processing
  • EMP201 Payment Co-Packing Recoveries

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Relevant experience in accounting or a related field (desirable)

Qualifications

  • Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent)
