About the Role
We are seeking a talented Digital Designer to join our team in Durban, responsible for creating engaging brand content that aligns with our digital strategy and drives audience engagement across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Create compelling, meaningful stories that engage audiences and align with brand messaging
- Develop high-quality brand content that meets strategic objectives and drives engagement across platforms
- Take ownership of content creation across multiple formats, including web design, motion graphics, animation, and digital campaigns
- Work independently while managing projects from concept through to final delivery
- Ensure all creative output is aligned with the brand’s vision and digital strategy
- Deliver work within tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality
- Demonstrate strong technical proficiency across relevant design and content tools
- Perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Contribute to enhancing and transforming the overall digital customer experience
Requirements
- A recognised qualification in Digital Design or Animation
- Strong interest in social media and emerging digital trends
- Ability to come up with quick hitting, trending concepts
- Skilled in enhancing motion graphics with effects and design elements
- Proficiency with the Mac OS platform
- Advanced skills in Adobe After Effects and motion design software
- Familiarity with Adobe Firefly (plus)
- Experience in videography and Adobe Premiere Pro (advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of Photoshop
- Knowledge of web design platforms such as WordPress and Shopify (beneficial)
