They are currently looking for a Project Manager to join their team.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible from A to Z for managing, organizing, and executing a wide range of (inter)national and complex automation projects on-site, in accordance with the companys project methodology. Your focus will be on delivering robotic automation solutions, ensuring each project is completed successfully, on time, and to the highest standards.

Qualifications

  • You have a Master’s Degree in Engineering.
  • You have at least 10 years of experience
  • You have knowledge about state of the art systems and technics.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, English, French and/or German.
  • You are willing to travel abroad (20% of the time) to coordinate these projects.
  • You are communicative and hands-on.
  • You can work independently.
  • You should be able to work in the European Union without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Work preparation & project follow-up

  • You are the SPOC (Single Point Of Contact) for the assigned projects, towards the client, the sub-contractors and our team.
  • Assessing the operational, technical and financial feasibility of the project and anticipate if applicable.
  • Being present at kick-off meetings, technical/site meetings, commercial meetings and planning meetings as well as site inspections, with the client or with internal departments if needed.
  • Ensuring that all engineering and preparatory activities are undertaken.
  • You are responsible for visiting the site, setting up a detailed project planning and checking all the requirements for the mobilization of equipment and resources.

Supervision of operational activities

  • Willingness to travel to (inter)national sites.
  • Monitoring the progress and quality of the project, identifying deviations and correcting (or initiating corrections) where necessary.
  • Managing operational staff and subcontractors regarding the project execution. Supervises the safe execution of the project on-site and observes the QSHE regulations and administration.
  • Supervising the assembly methods and checking the quality of the delivered materials.

Contract management

  • Claim management Identifying contract variations and/or delay notifications.
  • Ensuring variations are communicated to and negotiated with the client according to the contractual requirements.

Financial follow up & administration

  • Responsible for budget follow up and daily cost management, in order to draft periodical progress reports and initiates invoicing.
  • Responsible for checking and approving all incoming project related invoices.
  • Looks for commercial opportunities, additional billable services or other ways to improve the financial revenue of the assigned projects.

Travel and Working arrangements:

  • The ideal candidate must have EU work authorisation.
  • This position requires onsite presence in Lokeren (Flanders), with the option to work up to two days from our Berchem/Antwerp satellite office and one day remotely.
  • Approximately 20% of your time will involve travel to project sites.
