About the Opportunity
Our client is a dominant force in the South African transport cooling and mobile refrigeration sector. They are dedicated to providing high-performance temperature control solutions for commercial fleets across Mpumalanga. Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the high-level diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of sophisticated electrical systems within mobile refrigeration units. This includes troubleshooting electronic control boards, managing complex wiring looms, and ensuring all cooling systems operate at peak efficiency. Your expertise will be critical in performing preventative maintenance and rapid emergency repairs to minimize fleet downtime.
Job Experience & Skills Required
- Trade Qualification: Must be a Qualified Auto Electrician with a recognized Trade Test (Section 13 or 26D).
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of direct experience within the transport cooling or mobile refrigeration industry.
- Diagnostic Skills: Proven ability to utilize specialized diagnostic software to identify and resolve intricate electrical faults.
- Local Proximity: Must be currently based in (or willing to relocate to) the Nelspruit area.
