About the Role
A Procurement Manager is sought for a high-volume FMCG manufacturing environment in Northern KwaZulu-Natal, responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement operations to ensure supply continuity and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement strategy across all operational inputs
- Source and negotiate with suppliers (raw materials, packaging, consumables)
- Ensure uninterrupted supply to production and operations
- Monitor pricing, contracts, and supplier performance
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and procurement efficiencies
- Manage procurement budgets and reporting
- Coordinate closely with production, finance, and logistics teams
- Implement procurement systems, controls, and best practices
- Monitor stock levels and reorder planning
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and standards
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Procurement / Supply Chain / Business
- 58 years of procurement experience in FMCG / Manufacturing
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Experience with ERP procurement systems
- Strong analytical and financial acumen
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers and priorities
- Strong planning and organizational skills
