About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment and machinery, while also fabricating pipe work and related equipment. As a skilled Fabricator / Welder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant equipment and machinery
• Weld stainless steel and mild steel pipes and sheets
• Fabricate pipe work and related equipment
• Assist with breakdowns and general maintenance
• Ensure all equipment is clean, safe, and operational
• Follow lock-out procedures and safety standards
• Attend production and safety meetings
• Install piping and assist with plant upgrades when required

Requirements

• 34 years experience as a Fabricator / Welder
• Red Seal qualification (essential)
• Experience working with stainless steel and aluminium
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and in a team
