About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales professional to join our client’s team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth through existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and developing a strong understanding of the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain existing customer relationships
- Actively identify and develop new business opportunities
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and new sales opportunities
- Seek out new business through cold calling, networking, and social media
- Arrange and conduct meetings with potential clients, understanding their requirements and concerns
- Prepare and present product and service presentations when required
- Generate accurate quotations and follow up on sales opportunities
- Ensure product availability and stock awareness for sales opportunities and demonstrations
- Negotiate and close deals, while effectively managing customer objections or complaints
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and company objectives
- Gather customer feedback and share insights with management and the sales team
- Prepare regular sales activity and performance reports
Requirements
- Relevant experience in the Motor Industry (preference for Truck and Trailer parts)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven sales track record and ability to meet or exceed targets
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
