About the Role

Network Finance is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will support business teams through insightful reporting, strong data structures, and well-documented information flows. This role offers the opportunity to influence data standards, improve reporting capability, and contribute to long-term analytical maturity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse documents and maintain structured views of existing data environments
  • Translate business reporting needs into accurate and efficient data solutions
  • Design and improve database structures to support evolving requirements
  • Write, optimise, and validate complex SQL queries for operational and financial reporting
  • Build and maintain Excel-based reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis outputs
  • Support data quality testing, change validation, and issue resolution
  • Assist business users with data queries, guidance, and best practice usage

Requirements

  • A degree in a quantitative or analytical field is required
  • Eight to ten years of experience within a data analysis or business-focused analytics role
  • Hands-on experience working with SQL Server environments is essential
  • Proven experience working independently and managing priorities without close supervision
  • Exposure to financial reporting data or transactional environments is advantageous
