About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our team on a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) in Johannesburg. As an HR Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the management of large volumes of HR documents and data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, classify, and organise large volumes of HR documents
- Ensure accurate naming, indexing, and filing of records
- Identify and resolve duplicate, missing, or misfiled documents
- Perform data validation and quality checks
- Build and maintain Excel trackers to monitor progress
- Support Power BI dashboards for reporting and visibility
- Maintain document control logs and tracking systems
- Ensure compliance with HR governance and POPIA requirements
Requirements
- Strong Excel skills (sorting, formulas, data cleaning)
- Basic to intermediate Power BI knowledge
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work with large datasets in a structured way
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Interest in HR, data management, or document control
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
