About the Role
We are looking for a hardworking and trustworthy Classroom Cleaner and Hygiene Attendant to maintain a clean, hygienic, and professional learning environment in our programme classrooms.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise all computer desks, keyboards, mice, monitors, and surfaces before and after each class session
- Sweep and mop classroom floors thoroughly
- Wipe down all desks, chairs, door handles, light switches, and frequently touched surfaces
- Empty classroom bins and dispose of all waste correctly and hygienically
- Ensure the classroom is clean and fully ready before learners arrive for every session
- Restock cleaning supplies and notify the instructor when supplies are running low
- Report any damaged equipment, broken furniture, or safety hazards immediately
- Store all cleaning materials safely and away from learner access at all times
- Maintain personal hygiene and wear all protective equipment provided by KayTech Nexa
Requirements
- No formal qualifications required — Matric is advantageous but not essential
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred
- Experience working in a school, office, or professional environment is advantageous
- Meticulous and thorough — cleans every area without needing reminders
- Careful and gentle when working around computer equipment
- Punctual, reliable, and honest — works independently in a room with valuable equipment
