About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Superintendent to join our team in Sandton. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex hybrid infrastructure, ensuring seamless service delivery, and upholding industry-leading cybersecurity standards. This is a D-Lower position that requires a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a proven track record of success in IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex hybrid infrastructure (Cloud/on-prem) to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and implement robust cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) and Zero Trust architecture.
- Oversee service desks for Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle, etc.) and ITSM platforms.
- Ensure endpoint compliance controls and infrastructure monitoring tools are in place.
- Manage vendors, contracts, SLAs/OLAs, and performance metrics to drive business success.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Operations, and/or Service Delivery Management roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Postgraduate degree will be advantageous.
- TIL v3/v4 Certification (Foundation or higher).
- Agile project management certification will be a distinct advantage.
