About the Role
Our Client in the Engineering / Manufacturing Industry is seeking to employ an experienced Sales Executive to their team based in Perseverance, Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building relationships with customers, and contributing to the company’s overall success.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure orders from existing and prospective customers through relationship-based approaches.
- Expand The Company’s footprint throughout Africa by growing representative networks.
- Demonstrate products/services and provide guidance to customers on the best solutions.
- Develop clear and effective written proposals and quotations for customers.
- Research, identify, and develop prospective customers in the assigned territory.
- Plan and execute personal sales strategy to maximize return on time investment.
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, management, accounting, logistics, and technical service teams.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify opportunities and product improvements.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, or related field advantageous
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in marine or boating industry
- Demonstrated ability in prospecting, relationship management, and account development
- Experience in proposal writing, presentations, and CRM systems
- Valid drivers license
- Willingness to travel as required
