About the Role
A respected FMCG employer is seeking a Head of Supply Chain to join its Western Cape team. This position involves leading the end-to-end supply chain to ensure raw materials flow efficiently to various plants, as well as finished goods for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing all warehouse operations
- Procurement and supplier management
- Inbound/outbound logistics
- Inventory management
- Distribution planning
- Ensuring supply chain processes are reliable, cost efficient and provide excellent customer service and quality compliance
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics Management
- 5 years experience in a similar position within a manufacturing environment
- Postgraduate qualification (advantageous)
- Experience managing 3PL/outsourced logistics providers
- Strong familiarity with ERP systems
