Job Description

About the Role

As an IT Operations Manager at GMI Advisory in Sandton, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our ICT infrastructure and services. This includes managing incidents, projects, and reports, as well as maintaining third-party agreements and adhering to service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

Managing incidents and that they are logged and resolved
Managing projects and producing reports
Support problem and incident management processes
Manage and plan data centre and related applications
Manage and plan for business continuity
Maintain third-party, internal customer and service level agreements
Ensure that all service level agreements are adhered to
Assess security, governance and policies against prescribed frameworks
Manage ICT assets and infrastructure
Provide regular management reports
Manage ICT support team and provide team members with clear performance standards

Requirements

Relevant IT experience
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and technical skills

Qualifications

Masters NQF 9 or higher qualification
