About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and service-driven F&B Manager for a luxury safari lodge in Bela Bela. This live-in opportunity is ideal for a dynamic hospitality professional with a passion for delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences in a high-end bush environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full food and beverage operation across the lodge
- Ensure exceptional guest dining experiences in line with luxury standards
- Manage and lead the F&B team, including training, mentoring and performance management
- Maintain high standards of service, hygiene and presentation at all times
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor stock levels, ordering and cost control within the department
- Implement and maintain systems for stock control and waste management
- Develop and manage beverage offerings, including wine and bar service
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and food hygiene regulations
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any service-related issues professionally
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and reporting within the F&B department
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar F&B management role within luxury hospitality
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Good understanding of stock control, costings and budgeting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of attention to detail and organisational ability
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Well-presented with a professional demeanour
