About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Guide to join our team in Bela-Bela, South Africa. As a leading provider of guiding services, we offer a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our guiding team and share their expertise with clients from around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct guided tours in Big 5 reserves and luxury 5-star lodges
- Lead and manage a guiding team to ensure exceptional client experiences
- Develop and implement effective guiding itineraries and plans
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum FGASA Level 2 (NQF 4) or equivalent guiding qualification
- Valid Trails Guide qualification
- Proven experience as a Head Guide or Safari Manager
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience guiding in Big 5 reserves and luxury 5-star lodges
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
- Current Wilderness First Aid certification
- Valid Advanced Rifle Handling (ARH) qualification
- SAPS business competency for rifle use
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
