About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Guide to join our team in Bela-Bela, South Africa. As a key member of our guiding team, you will be responsible for leading guided tours in Big 5 reserves and luxury 5-star lodges, while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead guided tours in Big 5 reserves and luxury 5-star lodges
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
- Manage and mentor a guiding team
- Plan and organise tours effectively
- Ensure client safety and well-being at all times
Requirements
- Minimum FGASA Level 2 (NQF 4) or equivalent guiding qualification
- Valid Trails Guide qualification
- Proven experience as a Head Guide or Safari Manager
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience guiding in Big 5 reserves and luxury 5-star lodges
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
- Current Wilderness First Aid certification
- Valid Advanced Rifle Handling (ARH) qualification
- SAPS business competency for rifle use
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Mature, professional, and responsible demeanour
