Minimum Requirements:

• Red Seal Certification (Wiremans license advantageous)

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering: BEng / BEngTech / BTech

• 3+ years experience in solar PV system design, installation, and commissioning

• Proficient in solar design software (preferred)

• Experience with residential and commercial solar PV systems

• Hands-on knowledge of inverters, batteries, and remote monitoring software

• Strong grasp of electrical design principles and solar PV components

• Skilled in fault finding, troubleshooting, and compliance with local electrical codes

• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel for on-site assessments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert technical support for solar system design, installation, and performance

• Conduct system commissioning, testing, and remote diagnostics

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues in the field and remotely

• Assist in the standardization of technical documentation and best practices

• Liaise with internal teams and clients to ensure quality and compliance

• Stay up to date on the latest solar technologies and regulations
