About the Role
Solutions Group Events, a leading events company in Bryanston, Johannesburg, is seeking two experienced professionals to join our team on a full-time, in-office basis. We are looking for a Senior Events Manager and an Events Co-Ordinator who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and contribute to a wide range of events.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day event logistics from concept to delivery.
- Break down complex projects into detailed task lists, timelines and workflows.
- Source, negotiate with and manage local suppliers and venues.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage budgets, invoicing and documentation for all event projects.
- Attend client meetings and virtual calls – take clear actions and follow-ups.
- Respond to client requests with clarity, professionalism and urgency.
- Support senior team members in preparing pitches, presentations and reports.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in the events industry as an Events Co-Ordinator.
- 10 years of experience in the events industry as a Senior Events Manager.
- Proven experience within one or more of the following sectors: corporate event management, conference and congress management, incentive travel programmes and group travel operations.
