Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in statistics, epidemiology, demography or public health (with a strong quantitative focus) Previous clinical research and statistical analysis experience (minimum 3 years) Knowledge of STATA, and ability to work In R or other statistical packages Data management experience with electronic platforms such as REDCap The following will be advantageous: Experience in child or maternal research as an advantage Knowledge and experience in longitudinal data analysis is a distinct advantage Experience working in a collaborative research environment Experience with publications in peer-reviewed journals Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Preparing datasets for investigators and students Providing statistical support to investigators and students by running specific analyses Advising investigators and students on statistical approaches to research questions Data quality control (including input into quality control systems and creating feedback reports) Developing and maintaining REDCap-based databases, and reporting from such databases Additional Information: 12-month Fixed Term Contract Full-Time (40 hours per week; Monday to Friday) This position is based at Red Cross War Memorial Childrens Hospital Closing Date: 5 January 2026 Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
