About the Role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and building CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and collaborating with software engineers, QA, and security teams to ensure system reliability, availability, and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build CI/CD pipelines
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability and performance
Automate deployment, monitoring, and recovery processes
Collaborate closely with software engineers, QA, and security teams
Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent
3 years experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role
Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM
Containers and Orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes
Monitoring and Logging: Ansible, Puppet or Chef
Proficiency in Bash, Python or PowerShell

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent
