About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our team in Cape Town City Centre for a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing various financial aspects of our organization, ensuring accurate and complete financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing and managing debtors and creditors control
- Calculating monthly retainer fees and admin fee income
- Overseeing and managing financial accountant to ensure accurate and complete financial records
- Reviewing accounting records and monthly reconciliations including VAT, payroll, income tax, revenue and intercompany reconciliations
- Maintaining fixed asset register, leave pay, prepayment, training, IFRS16 and staff loan schedules
- Preparing monthly financial management reports for subsidiaries and group (consolidation)
- Ensuring statutory compliance, including drafting of resolutions and company loan agreements
- Preparing and coordinating the audit process
Requirements
- Minimum 34 years post-articles accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of the Financial Services Business
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Qualifications
- B.Com Accounting (or equivalent)
- CA (SA)
