About the Role

The Brand Ambassador is a key representative for our General Merchandise brand, tasked with promoting and increasing brand awareness in Cape Town City Centre. This role requires excellent communication skills, product knowledge, and a strong ability to work with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shelf Health: Ensure all price labels are displayed correctly, conduct price checks, and execute point of sales.
  • Negotiate for extra space and ensure all products on shelf are removed from storerooms.
  • Build displays according to specifications and discuss deals or new products with stores.
  • Approach customers in store, utilize product knowledge to direct them to our supplier’s products, and complete monthly requirements.
  • Train instore floor staff on product knowledge and attend client training sessions as needed.
  • Complete product knowledge test monthly and pull aged stock per communication from the line manager.

Requirements

  • South African unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
  • Must not have participated in the YES programme before.
  • Matric.
