HR Data, Systems and Insights Lead Turn people data into clear insights that support better business decisions. Cape Town Hybrid, 3 days in office | UK working hours | R50 000 – R55 000 About Our Client Our client is looking for a data-driven People professional to join their People & Culture Team in a newly created and critical role. This position will strengthen how the business uses HR data, systems, and insights to support leaders, teams, workforce planning, DE&I, and people initiatives. The Role: HR Data, Systems and Insights Lead This role sits at the heart of HR Operations and acts as a trusted partner to People leaders, HR, Finance, and senior stakeholders. The focus is on collecting, analysing, and translating people data into clear reports, dashboards, and presentations that drive action and support better decision-making. Key Responsibilities Bring strong experience working with HR data, reporting, dashboards, and HR systems. Collect and analyse people data across talent, recruitment, DE&I, performance, engagement, and workforce trends. Produce regular and ad-hoc reporting packs for People leaders and senior stakeholders. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across HR reporting outputs. Create clear, visually engaging presentations and dashboards that tell a compelling story with data. Support People leaders and team leads with insight-led presentations. Translate complex datasets into simple, meaningful narratives and actions. Act as the systems lead and point of contact for HR systems, including enhancements, upgrades, and issue resolution. Drive adoption, user experience improvements, data quality, system documentation, user guides, and process improvements. Support People projects requiring data, automation, streamlined processes, and improved HR reporting. About You Experience working confidently with HR data, reporting, dashboards, and HR systems. Strong analytical skills with the ability to work confidently with data. Skilled in creating dashboards or visual reports using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools. Experience working with HRIS, ATS, performance, or engagement tools. Experience preparing reports and insight packs for stakeholders. Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to make data engaging and relevant. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Confident communicator who can work across diverse stakeholder groups. Comfortable working closely with both HR and Finance. Able to work UK working hours from Cape Town in a hybrid structure.
